On Canadian Thanksgiving Day it seemed particularly appropriate to post these photos of the Lewiston International Peace Garden. The original design for the garden was developed by Lewiston/NOTL Rotarian (and noted Canadian landscape architect) John Morley.In these trying times in which entities, both foreign and domestic, try to portray those who hold differing political and social views as evil or inferior or racist or misogynistic or mentally inadequate, it is instructive to note that, for over 200 years, people of good will have agreed to disagree in peace and harmony. May God bless our friends in Canada and in the USA for whom we are truly thankful.
