Maryann Cogdill, director of OB/GYN Services at the Center for Women at Mount St. Mary’s Hospital, named the Nurse of Distinction for Western New York in January 2022, visited the Rotary Club of Lewiston, NY & Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON on March 9 , 2022and, after informing the Club of the evolution of services for newborns and mothers in the greater Niagara Falls, NY area, received a contribution to help improve those services,  .

There has been a long standing partnership between the nurses and alumnae of the Maternity/Nursery Staff  and the Rotary Club to raise funds for and/or purchase needed equipment to optimize the well being of women and infants in our community.  It is good to have friends and partners.
